The family
Seven weights, one even rhythm.
Drawn so the lightest and the heaviest still feel like the same voice — even mid-paragraph.
In running text
Built for the paragraph, not the poster.
Counterpoint began as a reading face — the kind you stop noticing after the first line, which is the highest compliment a text type can earn. Open apertures keep it legible at small sizes, while a moderate contrast holds up when the page is set large.
The italics are true italics, not slants: they were drawn by hand to carry emphasis without breaking the line's colour. Figures come in lining and old-style sets, with tabular versions for tables that need to stay in step.
It ships as static weights and as a single variable file, so you can dial in exactly the weight a layout asks for and ship one small download instead of seven.
